Leah Paul, Lucky Bat Books editor and promotional specialist, works with writers both editing and marketing their work.
Before coming to Lucky Bat Books, Leah gathered experience editing with Sapphire Blue Publishing and Ooligan Press. While working with Ooligan Press she was head of their External Promotions department and was project manager for Oregon Stories.
As a line editor for Sapphire Blue Publishing, Leah spent much time working with authors on plot and character development while teaching them how to find their own voice. An avid romance reader and the older sister to a teenager, Leah has extensive knowledge in the romance and young adult genres. She is also passionate in teaching authors how to gain an audience and how to market themselves.
After college, she spent three months in Washington, D.C. as a communications intern for the Center for Clean Air Policy. There she wrote press releases, newsletters, and created press kits for congressional hearings.
An Ohio native, Leah currently lives in Portland, Oregon and spends much time traveling the country.
