Jessie Hilgenberg is a Reno, Nevada native and ADDY award-winning designer whose graphic design talent took her through design school at California State University, Chico, earning her a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design with a focus on publication design and typography.
While earning her design degree, she held the position as the first female Art Director of the University’s newspaper, The Orion (first published in 1975). During her art direction, The Orion won awards such as National Newspaper Pacemaker, National Newspaper of the Year and National Convention Best of Show.
Her thorough experience in publication design and art direction of magazines, newspapers and books brings together many years of traditional and innovative design and exceptional technological skills.
